2024 Conference Speaker Application

Deadline: Primary consideration will go to speakers who complete this form prior to June 28th, 2024, but speaking spots will remain open until filled.

PAPA’s Conference is to attract professionals who are involved in different aspects of providing engagement to those that resident in a healthcare setting.

These professionals seek to increase their knowledge about overcoming challenges that professionals face in healthcare, especially as an Activity Professional, building their confidence with new skills and obtaining new innovative activity programming into their organization! This virtual conference is geared toward professionals at any level.

The conference planning committee is seeking speakers and topics that will meet the following objectives:

*Attract attendees to the conference
*Provide education/programming ideas that target specific areas such as behaviors, dementia, those individuals that are on the spectrum
* Educate the attendee on new or updated regulations related to the activity profession
* Provide the attendee with enough information and inspiration so that they are more likely to become a respected leader in the place of employment.
* Fits within the event themes of “Virtually Unstoppable”

Speakers that are selected to present will be expected to provide a workshop description, photo and bio by August 30, 2024, for the inclusion in the program and marketing materials as well as any handouts in a PDF format.
